Dr Joanna Purdie

Jo graduated from Massey University in 2013 and initially worked in mixed practice in rural New Zealand. She moved to England for two years in 2018/19 and got to live the James Herriot dream, working with all creatures great and small in Yorkshire. Since returning to New Zealand in 2020 she has been working in Wellington with a focus on companion animals. Jo is a true GP and enjoys general consults and surgery, with a particular fondness for dentistry. She completely adores cats and has a deaf cat named Mew who rules their household. She is also a passionate dancer, and outside of work can be found teaching and enjoying Modern Jive dancing with her fiancé at iDance Wellington.
